Nexus is Coming in Clutch
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord is only weeks away from entering early access. However, fans have already started making mods for the game. Nexus Mods has made it possible for players to manage mods for Bannerlord. The game is only available in its beta form but that has not stopped people from tinkering around and getting creative. Mods played an enormous roll in Mount and Blade: Warband, so expect that tradition to continue on to the next title in the series.
Mount and Blade: Warband has been around for almost 10 years but it has still managed to cling on relevancy thanks to the great mods that were made for it. Almost anything you could imagine was made into a mod for Warband. If you wanted to play a campaign in the Roman Empire, you could. This wouldn’t be a Micky Mouse experience either (usually). It would be a total overhaul of everything the game had the offer. New weapons, enemies, characters, armor, and so much more. It really gave players the ability to create anything that they wanted. Fans can rest easy now knowing Bannerlord is going to follow that tradition as well. Only time will tell what wacky add ons the community is going to cook up.
Bannerlord is not just going to improve on mods, but almost everything else as well. The combat looks much cleaner and crisp and the graphics are obviously lightyears better than what Warband had to offer. The game has expanded in its scope to a level that will really wow a lot of people. The playable world is enormous and the battles are something out of Lord of the Rings. Everything is bigger and better than it was previously.
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord is out on PC March 31st.
