Dig Deep, Friends
We are seeing a lot of changes coming to almost every aspect of our lives because of the Coronavirus outbreak. Many countries are ordering their citizens to self-isolate or going into lockdown. This means that very restrictive travel within cities and towns, so people are only going out for essentials like grocery shopping and work. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Since game development is not really essential work, a lot of games are suffering delays. Not all of them, but a lot. Mojang is warning fans that there might be a Minecraft Dungeons delay on the horizon.
Nothing is set in stone, but fair warning to miners and dungeon raiders. Like many workers within and without the gaming industry, Mojang employees have shifted their workplace temporarily to their homes. It is not always as efficient, but options, like toilet paper, are in short supply. A message was tweeted out from the Minecraft Dungeons Twitter account: “As we’re working from home to do our part in protecting our community, our workflows will unfortunately be impacted. We’re working hard to deliver Minecraft Dungeons in April, but we’re also re-evaluating our timeline to make sure we bring you the best game possible. Stay tuned!”

Luckily, there are many games out there, many sales going on, and I am sure many games in your backlog we can all work on. Minecraft Dungeons will hopefully be launching in April, but we shall see. Minecraft Dungeons will be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
