Overall, Weird
When you think of the image of Mario, the visual has pretty much remained unchanged for the last… forever. You got his mustache, hat with his signtarure M, white gloves, red shirt, and blue overalls. We know his style so well, but we don’t know about where he gets his outfit. Does he buy from someone? Is he sponsored? Is clothing supplied publicly? Is the Mushroom Kingdom a socialist nation? We just don’t know. This mystery may have prompted clothing brand Levi’s to jump on this opportunity to collaborate with Super Mario.
A few days ago, the Levi’s Twitter account sent out a tweet of a GIF of the Levi’s logo over the Super Mario logo. The logos rotates with a classic Mario coin. The caption has a pair of jeans crossed with a mushroom saying “Coming soon”. This is as mysterious as it is bizarre, but it certainly has our attention. Nintendo may be collaborating with Levi’s to produce a line of Super Mario clothing. Perhaps there will be official Mario overalls; a cosplayer’s dream. If you would indulge me for a moment, there should also be pink or blue Luigi overalls, black Waluigi overalls, and purple Wario overalls.

While Levi’s clothing options range beyond jeans, denim is their most popular product by far. It would seem like a natural choice for them to focus on overalls if they are indeed helping Nintendo with a clothing line. I mean, I don’t seem them making a green tunic outfit for them. Keep your eyes open for more details on this strange collab.
