Eyebrows Are Being Raised
It is all but confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be getting a battle royale mode in the near future. It has not been officially acknowledged by Infinity Ward, but we know its coming. A trailer has already leaked showcasing some of the features that we might expect to see. While this has a number of fans very excited, others are not so optimistic. There is a significant portion of the COD community that are very hesitant to embrace this new game mode.
Rumors have surfaced via a number of Twitter accounts that all claim the map that is going to be used will be incredibly small. To put this into perspective, the alleged map that Infinity Ward plans on using is going to be smaller than Sanhok in PUBG. To add to the anxiety, it is also rumored that there is going to be up to 200 players in each match. If this is true, COD battle royale is going to result in some very congested gameplay.

If these rumors are true, Call of Duty battle royale is going to be one of the most hectic and chaotic battle royale games of all time. While some people might enjoy the idea of that kind of play, it doesn’t really mesh well with what people think of when they hear ‘battle royale’. Keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed by Infinity Ward. All of these things could turn out to be false at a later date.
