Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX Has Xbox One Release Date

Almost All-in-One

This story has popped up a couple of times in the past year; reports of early Kingdom Hearts games coming to Xbox One. They seemed real at the time and then kind of fizzled out, but this time we are closer than ever. This pack of Kingdom Hearts games goes by many names; The Story So Far, All-in-One, and this time, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX. Regardless of the name, this pack mostly consists of the same components, which include everything that came before Kingdom Hearts 3, with the exception of All-in-One, which apparently does come with the third numbered entry.

Kingdom Hearts HD

What is supposedly different and news worthy about it this time is that there are reports that the 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX will be coming to Xbox One on February 18th. The Microsoft Store also says this, but it’s been wrong before. This pack comes with 4 games; Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, and Birth By Sleep Final Mix. It also contains 2 movies; 358/2 Days and Re:Coded.

If you are skeptical about this, you should be. Microsoft and Square Enix have had a growing relationship in recent years, but it still appears that Sony is Square Enix’s main squeeze, and maybe they just aren’t ready to give Xbox One their full Kingdom Hearts library. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX might be coming out on Xbox One on February 18th. I don’t know. Either it will or it won’t.
