Today, Gearbox held their panel at PAX East. So far, the big news from them is that Borderlands 3’s PC exclusivity to the Epic Games Store is coming to an end. Two weed from now, fans will be able to get Borderlands 3 on Steam, so that means Steam die-hards will be happy now, right? Right? Wrong. While they are glad to have it, they are still mad, because. Gearbox has announced that cross-play between the Steam and Epic Games Store versions will be a standard. In any case, Gearbox is celebrating the fact that the most recent Borderlands game has hit every platform (except for Nintendo Switch)!
The Steam page for Borderlands 3 has gone live and you can now add it to your wishlist. So far, no price has been listed, but it is looking like the Steam edition will be the same as the Super Deluxe Edition, which includes the Deluxe Edition content and the Season Pass. The grand list of what is included is the Retro Cosmetic Pack, Neon Cosmetic Pack, Gearbox Cosmetic Pack, Toy Box Weapons Pack, Equippable XP & Loot Drop Boost Mods, Butt Stallion weapon skin, weapon trinket, and grenade mod, and the Season Pass. Not only that, the new look at the Season Pass reveals the second story DLC Guns, Love, and Tentacles.
In addition to Borderlands 3 hitting Steam, Gearbox is also holding a franchise sale, so fans can pick up Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and all their respective DLC for discounted prices. They have also released a limited time SHiFT code for five Golden Keys that expires on March 19th. The code is C3KJB-3H9HZ-63KZW-9BKJB-WZRCR. Borderlands 3 will launch on Steam on March 13th, and is available now on Stadia, PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
