Last time on Gearbox at PAX East, it was announced at the Gearbox panel that Borderlands 3 would finally be arriving on Steam next month. It will be up to date with all the other platforms at launch. And speaking of up to date, fans can get salivating over the next Borderlands 3 DLC, which was revealed today as well. Gearbox released a trailer for Guns, Love, and Tentacles, and there are a couple of surprises that may make veteran Vault Hunters squeak in excitement. Check out the trailer down below.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles will revolve around the marriage of Sir Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs, who were integral to the plot of Borderlands 3 on Eden-6. Same-sex relationships have been seen in past Borderlands games in side missions, but these two are the first gay characters in the series to take center stage and now they have their own story DLC. While that makes us all happy and everything, we may be even happier to see the return of Gaige; our favourite teenage, robot-armed, mech-romancing, redheaded Vault Hunter from Borderlands 2. She is only there for a split second, but seeing her blast some dude in the face warms us up.
You can start the countdown for the Hammerlock/Jakobs wedding day, because the DLC releases on March 26th. Do you think they will hyphenate? Borderlands 2 is available on PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One, and will be on Steam on March 13th.
