Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC Kind of Ruins the Game’s Name

Will There Be a Definitive Edition Called Four Houses?

More news for Fire Emblem fans and Three Houses protagonist Byleth. Apparently, this new Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC adds… a fourth house? Well, I mean, okay. Adding another house certainly bulks up the game and its story, but it’s called Three Houses. You can see how having four houses kind of messes things up. However, if you look into the story behind his new house, you may be able to see why it shouldn’t be too big a deal.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC

According to the trailer released yesterday, the DLC called Cindered Shadows explores an area underneath the Gerrag Mach Monastery. This city hub called Abyss is home to a secret house called Ashen Wolves, who are outcasts of Fódlan. It appears that Byleth takes the Ashen Wolves as allies, but the trailer does not exactly reveal where the story leads. Four students that Byleth can recruit are Balthus; a physical fighter with enormous gauntlets, Hapi; a mage on horseback, Constance; a second mage on a black pegasus, and Yuri; who appears to lead the group as signified by her white shoulder cape.

Cindered Shadows is the fourth wave of DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses and will be available on February 12th. In other Fire Emblem news, Three Houses protagonist Byleth was announced to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Fire Emblem: Three Houses is available for Nintendo Switch.
