Yassssss, Doom Guy, Slay
It might just be an inherently millennial thing, but we are now looking forward to Doom more than ever. We are only a couple of months away from playing Doom Eternal and now we are getting a glimpse at what options there are in terms or purchasing. Here we can show you the Doom Eternal pre-order bonuses and special editions for you to salivate over. Some of these things are limited edition items as well, so if you like it, then you should put an order on it.
Starting with a standard pre-order, anyone who pre-orders Doom Eternal also gets the Rip and Tear Pack. This consists of the Throwback Shotgun weapon skin, the Bonus Campaign Master Level “Cultist Base”, and the “Doot” Revenant Skin, which is a demon with musical horns on its back. A digital copy of Doom 64 also comes with every pre-order. Pre-ordering at GameStop also gets you a “Collectible Tin”. Call it what it is; it’s a lunch box. A dope looking lunch box. The Deluxe Edition comes with the Demonic Slayer Skin, a pass for DLC 1 and 2, and the Classic Weapons Sound Pack, which I assume changes the weapon sound effects to that of the classic Doom weapons. Pre-ordering also gets you the Rip and Tear Pack, Doom 64, and the lunch box (if pre-orderd from GameStop).
The Collector’s Edition comes with an exclusive steelbook case, a 11″x17″ lithograph called The Gift of Argent Power, a lore book from id Software, and a “wearable” (we’ll see) Doom Slayer helmet. Also, find out how you can unlock a Doom Eternal skin ahead of the game’s launch. It also comes with everything in the Deluxe Edition. Doom Eternal will be coming out on March 20th for PC, Stadia, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
Which edition would you be most likely to get? Let us know in the comments below.
