With a feigned surprise, we were hit with the announcement of the Resident Evil 3 Remake recently. What was a genuine surprise was just how soon we would have our hands on it. With only about 4 months until its release, fans can only think about how they can get their hands on it. Fortunately, GameStop and EB Games has shown us what it is offering as a Collector’s Edition. If you don’t need the fancy-pants Collector’s Edition, you can get the Standard Edition without being limited to purchasing it from GameStop. No matter which Edition you get, you will get the in-game Classic Costume Pack as long as you pre-order. The Classic Costume Pack shows Jill in her outfit from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. For the customers getting the Collector’s Edition, they will be getting an 11″ statue of Jill Valentine as she appears in the Remake, a double-sided map of Raccoon City, a Collector’s Artbook, a digital soundtrack for the game, and the game itself, all packaged in a S.T.A.R.S. Collector’s Box.
The Resident Evil 3 Remake Collector’s Edition costs $229.99 CAD, but if the Standard Edition will satisfy you, it will be significantly cheaper. Resident Evil 3 will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on April 4th, 2020.
