Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Sequel Possibly In Development

A Jedi Fallen Order Sequel Could Be Coming in the Near Future

A sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order might be in development, according to multiple recent job postings for the first gameโ€™s studio, Respawn Entertainment. Each reported job posting is specifically for Respawnโ€™s Star Wars team and at least one mentions coding for โ€œthird person action/adventure gamesโ€.

Jedi Fallen Order

Considering that Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was a third-person action-adventure game that was received positively and sold well, itโ€™s pretty likely that these job postings are for a Respawn-developed sequel. One also has to consider that the ending of Respawnโ€™s latest release left a lot of room for future stories involving the gameโ€™s hero, Cal Kestis.

Thereโ€™s also this rumor dropped by Kotaku reporter Jason Schreier during a November episode of the outletโ€™s podcast, Kotaku Splitscreen (around the 41:20 time mark): โ€œWhat Iโ€™ve heardโ€ฆis that [Respawn] already have a greenlight to make a sequel.โ€

Itโ€™s certainly possible that a Jedi Fallen Order sequel is in the works but, of course, that hasnโ€™t been confirmed or denied yet by Respawn or its publisher, EA (which has the exclusive rights to make Star Wars games until 2023). Fans will have to wait and see but chances that theyโ€™ll be joining Cal on another epic adventure are pretty good.
