On the Fifth Day of Christmas, Blizzard Gave to Me…
Blizzard may have been on a lot of people’s naughty list this year, but you know what they say? “New year, new me!” Right, Blizzard? Well, you never know. Maybe 2020 will be the year of Blizzard exclusively meeting every fan’s demands and expectations. Blizzard is ending the year with their annual Winter Wonderland event which gives Overwatch players five free Overwatch loot boxes. From now until January 2nd, players who log onto their game will get free holiday-themed items like skins and sprays.
Upon starting your game, you will be hit with the message:Â “It has truly been an eventful and amazing year, and we wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a part of it. We could not have done this without the tremendous support, passion, and enthusiasm that you’ve shown for Overwatch. From the entire Blizzard team, we wish you and yours the very best and look forward to spending an exciting new year with you!” There are three Legendary skins from this event that are cannot be received in the loot boxes. These skins can be earned by completing nine matches each week for three weeks.
Whatever your feelings of Blizzard are at this point, hopefully you make use of your free loot boxes and get the gift of RNG. Overwatch is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
