Will the Fallout 76 Wastelanders Update Lift the Game out of Trouble?

MAGFO – Make Appalachia Great For Once

It goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway) that Fallout 76 has been fighting an uphill battle since its launch, against itself for the most part. Between the proverbial bug infestation and the real life controversies, any win for Bethesda seems to pale in comparison to the massive amount of things fans feel they need to make up for. It’s been a while since Bethesda has done anything to irk fans further, the upcoming Fallout 76 Wastelanders update is looking to make up a lot of ground in making the game fans wanted it to be.

Fallout 76 Wastelanders Update

Fallout 76 is made to feel like a Fallout game, but has been lacking some fundamental aspects in building the world. The Wastelanders update will be adding main story missions and NPCs to the Appalachia. There will also be new locations and encampments added to the game, no doubt that NPCs will eventually be populating. Bethesda recently spoke about the early parts of the main story missions, including the encounters players will be having with two of the new NPCs Duchess and Mort, who can be found at The Wayward.

Bethesda has yet to bring Fallout 76 to Steam and they were planning to do so before the end of 2019. Unfortunately, this act has been pushed back a little closer to the launch of the Wastelanders update in 2020. Still no official release date for Wastelanders, but you can pick up Fallout 76 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
