Developers Say The PS5 Is Crazy Easy To Work With

Easier Than Previous Systems For Sure

Shuhei Yoshida dropped a bunch of curious new details about the upcoming PS5 in a new interview with Dengeki PlayStation magazine. One of those details is that the PS5 is apparently just like, crazy easy to develop for compared to previous consoles the company has released.

Apparently, the PS3 was a notoriously difficult system to develop for. Because of this, Sony worked their butts off to ensure that future systems didn’t have this same problem. It seems obvious in retrospect, but developers can’t focus on making better games if their greatest obstacle is the system hardware. To that end, many developers have stated that working with the PS5 has been an absolute breeze so far.

With less than a year (give or take) before the release of the PS5 into the wider world, you’d think we would know more about the system by now. But we totally don’t! So far, there’s maybe one or two games confirmed for release on the upcoming system. Godfall is happening on the PS5 for sure, while something by Acquire known as Gladiux is supposedly coming to the PS5 and PC as well. Hopefully the new year brings us gobs and gobs of new details on Sony’s next console.
