Sony is Offering Refunds For WWE 2K20 After Its Horrendous Launch

The Fans Want Their Money Back

The highly anticipated launch of WWE 2K20 was a total flop. The game dropped and was almost immediately loathed by fans due to the sheer amount of bugs and glitches that were present. Some range from the hilarious and minor, to game ended crashes. There are already some great compilations on the internet of different people’s experiences with the game. As you might expect fans were outraged that 2K would even bother pushing out a game that was clearly not even close to being finished. In the chaos of this backlash from players, Sony has pledged to refund fans who have purchased the game.

Thankfully, for PS4 players there is an out. If you have bought WWE 2K20 and are not happy with the game, you can contact Sony either over the phone or through their online store and get things sorted out. As for those who have the game on Xbox or PC, hang in there. While there is no guarantee, it is possible that Microsoft will follow suit.

There has not been very much out of 2K since Tuesday. They have at the very least acknowlegd that their game is unplayable and are trying to fix it. But the damage has been done. 2K already had a horrible reputation before WWE 2K20 and now it’s even worse. It is going to be very interesting to see how 2K is going to try and recover from this big of a blunder.

Their other games like NBA 2K have also faced major backlash for running into the same problems at WWE 2K20. Making it even more obvious that this problem is entirely on 2K’s shoulders.

If you’re still interested. WWE 2K20 is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
