You Know, The Mad Max Guy
Even before the game’s release, people are falling over themselves to express their love for Death Stranding. Hideo Kojima’s latest supporter is George Miller, a director known for his work on films like Happy Feet and Mad Max. Miller was not shy in his praise, calling Kojima’s game “stunning.”
According to Miller, “The skill that I see in great filmmakers, I now see in Kojima-san’s work…all of the visual languages, the syntax, the compelling imagery, it’s all there.” While it’s no secret that Kojima’s work has a cinematic bent, it’s nice to see that acknowledged by an industry veteran.
