Round 2
Before the official release of Mortal Kombat 11, dataminers got their hands on some information that predicted the characters that appeared in the Kombat Pack. These included Terminator, Joker, Spawn, Sindel, Nightwolf, and Shang Tsung. The information also predicted other characters, but it seemed that they were opted out for the above characters. However, new data suggests that they will in fact be showing up in Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2. Though this pack has not been announced, it would be surprising that a franchise with so many characters to choose from would only have one DLC pack.
Apart from the characters that would be in the first Kombat Pack, the other characters that were expected included Fujin, Sheeva, and Ash Williams. The newfound data that brings this older information back is a series of audio clips. It is the voice of an announcer declaring Fujin the winner of a match. Now, why would this be recorded if Fujin was not going to be in the game? Perhaps it is an audio test, a just-in-case recording, or maybe Fujin really is going to be in Mortal Kombat 11. It would be strange to release the first Kombat Pack and then just Fujin as a standalone character, so this leads many to believe that there will be a Kombat Pack 2 and that Sheeva and Ash Williams still have a shot at getting into the game.
The first Kombat Pack is not even done release its characters. Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Spawn, and Terminator have been released, but Sindel and Joker still have yet to arrive. They will be available on November 26th and January 28th respectively. In the meantime, the Mortal Kombat 11 Halloween event is starting next week.
