Rust Could be Coming Back!
Call of Duty is back on top once again. Some could argue that it was never dethroned but it is hard not to notice all the buzz and hype surrounding Modern Warfare. The game has done incredibly well despite only being out for six days. Yesterday Activision announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was able to rake in 100 million more dollars than Black Ops 4. So far Modern Warfare has been the best selling video game of 2019. It will more than likely stay that way too. To add more fuel to the excitement about this game, it has been rumored that the future DLC maps have been leaked online.
This news to coming from the YouTube channel GamingRevolution. This channel is well known for its insider info on everything Call of Duty. They have a fairly good track record as well. Most of the things that they predict or “leak” come true. So this is a better source than most you’d find online.
The maps that will be used for DLC are almost all classic maps that were in the previous Call of Duty games. While this might seem like a cheap and lazy trick to some, others are going to be chomping at the bit to relive the glory days of the older installments.
New Maps
- Wet Work (6v6)
- Terminal (6v6)
- Crash (6v6)
- Vacant (6v6)
- Broadcast (6v6)
- Scrapyard (6v6)
- Rust (6v6 and Gunfight)
- Farah
- Boneyard
- Caged
- Hook
- +4 Ground War Maps
- +3 Gunfight Maps
Arguably the biggest addition is going to be Rust. This map was featured in Modern Warfare 2 all the way back in 2009. It has been a fan favorite for years and even become a bit of a meme.
However, please remember that this could turn out to be false information. Nothing has been confirmed by Infinity Ward.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
