“Until now, the only thing we said about multi was that it was in R&D,” the studio tweeted. “As we’re getting closer to launching ‘single player’ Cyberpunk 2077 in Apr. 2020, we’d like to confirm that multiplayer’s in the works!” After the highly-anticipated RPG launches on April 16th, 2020, CD Projekt RED will “follow up with DLCs (free!) and single player content” before launching the game’s multiplayer.

Speaking of the singleplayer mode, new gameplay was recently streamed and there was even a developer Q&A that answered several questions about the game. It’s also been revealed that the gender options in the character customization menus have been removed.

What do you think of this news? Are there any traditional multiplayer modes (such as team deathmatch) you’d like to see in Cyberpunk 2077? What’s your opinion of the free DLC announcement? What do you think that the other planned singleplayer content will add to the game?
