Wolfenstein: Youngblood is releasing on the Switch (and other platforms) this Friday and, according to the game’s executive producer Jerk Gustafsson, it’s “a miracle” that it’s coming to the Switch at all.

“I’m always impressed by the guys at Panic Button, that they can accomplish things like that,” Gustafsson said to VentureBeat in an interview. “It’s a miracle. We’re pushing the engine pretty hard in this game. Of course we did that for New Colossus as well. These guys are magicians. It’s a great honor to be able to work with them. I’m very happy that we can get Youngblood on Switch.”

Bethesda has been making a concentrated effort to bring more and more of its games to the Switch. Youngblood is just the latest example of this.

If you’re looking forward to Wolfenstein: Youngblood then check out our E3 2019 preview. “With new weapons, gadgets and power-up abilities, Youngblood promises to bring in new ways to kick the crap out of Nazis,” the preview’s author wrote. “I spent almost an hour going hands-on with Youngblood at E3 2019 and loved a lot of what I played. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.”
