Hot, Nasty Demon vs Doomslayer Action
Bethesda has released a set of screenshots showing that Doom Eternal Battlemode we keep hearing about. You know, the one where two demons fight against a doomslayer? It’s the latest game to acknowledge that maybe there’s something special to this three-person multiplayer idea.
The screenshots (and so much more) were shown off at this year’s Quakecon, an annual celebration of Id and Bethesda’s greatest, gooiest first-person shooters. Battlemode will be broken into three rounds, with players either being demons or doomguys. There will be six multiplayer maps available at launch. Also players will have initial access to five different demons:Â the Revenant, Pain Elemental, Mancubus, Marauder, and Archvile.
Other rad Doom-based news includes the first three games popping up on modern consoles, as well as the introduction of a shiny new demon or two. Doom Eternal is coming out on November 22 for PC, PS4 and the Xbox One. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any other awesome news to come out of Quakecon this weekend!
