A New Accessory for the Rumored Switch Mini Has Just Been Leaked

Could the Switch Mini Rumor Possibly Be True?

For a while now rumors have been flying about the development of not only a second Nintendo Switch, but a Switch Mini as well. Up until now it’s been just that though, rumors. Now it seems that a new accessory reportedly for the Nintendo Switch Mini has leaked which lends a bit of credence to the original rumors.

A brand new case for the Nintendo Switch Mini has just been leaked according to WinFuture. This case appears to be very different than anything we’ve seen for the normal Nintendo Switch. If this new image of the new case is anything to go by it seems the Switch Mini will be about the size of the console without the Joy-Cons attached. You can check out the case that’s been dubbed the Mini Switch 2 below.

As you can tell from the picture, the case is being made by none other than Bigben, a company that’s known for its Switch accessories. Aside from the developer of this silicone glove case there are a couple of other details that can be gleaned from the image. It appears to cover the entire console’s body, which means that the Joy-Con’s may not have a way to disconnect. This means that the Switch Mini might only be playable in handheld mode.

Now at this point in time Nintendo has yet to confirm anything about the Mini, nor have they addressed the rumors other than to say that they wouldn’t be answering questions about any possible leaks in order to avoid spoiling any potential surprises. Despite the fact that this leaked accessory does look more legitimate than anything we’ve seen so far regarding any new Switch models, keep in mind that this is still just a rumor and should be taken with a grain, or two, of salt.

What do you think about this accessory leak? Do you believe the idea that a Switch Mini is in development is true? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
