Control Comes Out Next Month
Remedy Entertainment’s Control is only a few weeks away from its August 27th launch but that doesn’t mean that the game is done with freaking people out with strange trailers. The latest story trailer dropped on Monday and can be viewed below.
If the trailer is a bit confusing for you then here’s the rundown on the game’s premise: Players will be exploring the fictional Federal Bureau of Control as a young woman named Jesse Faden. Jesse is searching the Bureau for answers about what happened to her lost brother but after arriving she becomes the Bureau’s new director and gets a strange shapeshifting gun.
With a new job and a new gun, Jesse will have to solve the mystery behind her brother’s disappearance and battle the Hiss, an otherworldly force that has taken over the Bureau. When it comes to gameplay, Control has been described as a Metroidvania with fast-paced third-person shooting gameplay and powers.
