Watch Dogs: Legion Comes Out Next March
Ubisoft finally unveiled Watch Dogs: Legion on Monday during the company’s E3 2019 conference. It’s scheduled to launch on March 6th, 2020 and it’ll be available for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
Set in a dystopian London that’s been taken over by mercenaries, Watch Dogs: Legion is about the player fighting back against the mercenaries by recruiting members for the hacker group DedSec.
According to the game’s creative director, Clint Hocking, every citizen NPC in London can be recruited and each character has their own voice and backstory.
In the gameplay video posted above, it seems that each NPC that was played had their own character skills/attributes and could use special gadgets such as the robotic spider or the series’ iconic hacker phone. It also appears that each playable NPC can be killed permanently during gameplay.
What do you think of this news? Does this new Watch Dogs game look interesting? What’s your opinion of this new recruiting mechanic? Do you think that London is a good setting for a Watch Dogs game?
