Gears 5 Just Got a Huge Information Drop During Microsoft’s E3 Presser
Microsoft and The Coalition announced the latest chapter of the beloved Gears of War series last year at E3 with Gears 5 and now, one full year later they dropped not one, but 3 brand new trailers, as well as a release date, for our enjoyment. Can you say hype?
As you know from last year, the upcoming title won’t be called Gears of War 5, but rather just Gears 5 and will follow Kait Diaz as the new protagonist. One of the new trailers during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference offered a unique cinematic view into this new protagonist. Following the trailer The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson came out on stage to confirm that the new Gears title will be released this fall, on September 10th, 2019.
And if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber you can actually get your hands on Gears 5 four days early, on September 6th. And this isn’t all that was announced during Microsoft’s presser this year either. In addition to the release date and new cinematic trailer, another trailer dropped showcasing a brand new Escape mode, as well as another that revealed a character pack based on the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate movie. You can check all of these trailers out below.
Gears 5 will officially be released for both the Xbox One and PC. So what do you think about all of this new information? Are you excited to play a new Gears of War game in the coming months?
