The Story of Breath of the Wild Continues
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is getting a sequel on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo announced on Tuesday during its E3 2019 Direct.
Glimpses of in-game footage were shown during the teaser video for the sequel and no release date or window was given.
Whenever the next Breath of the Wild game does come out, it has a tough act to follow since the previous entry was considered to be one of the best games of 2017.
Our review of the game was effusive with praise, describing it as “nothing short of a masterpiece.”
“I could go on and on about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” the review’s author wrote. “It’s Nintendo firing on all cylinders. Like an interactive studio Ghibli film, it’s at times stunning to look at. It plays incredibly well with challenging, exciting combat and through exploration, you’re organically taught the world’s rules and mechanics. It’s not just the best Zelda game yet, it’s quite possibly the best game Nintendo has ever produced.”
Um…so, uh, no pressure, Nintendo!
