The Last of Us Part II Might Be Getting a New Trailer Soon
Two different Spanish-language gaming new websites reported on Monday that The Last of Us Part II’s release date will be revealed this week along with a new trailer.
Gamereactor’s Spain website reported that multiple sources have informed the news outlet that a new trailer for the game is coming and that “Sony is preparing to set the release date of Last of Us 2 this week.” The website also reported that the release date will “most likely” be in the fall.
Similarly, another Spanish-language website, Legion de Jugadores, cited an anonymous source that said that a new trailer is coming and that it is possible that a 2019 release date will be revealed.
The Last of Us Part II has never had a confirmed release date or release window before but a lead Naughty Dog developer said earlier this month that the studio is hiring for new job positions to “close out” the game’s development. With all this recent info in mind, it is possible that this highly-anticipated sequel could launch sometime this year.
