Expect More Dying Light 2 at Square Enixโs E3 Press Conference
Techland and Square Enix have announced their partnership to publish and distribute the upcoming zombie sequel Dying Light 2 in the Americas when it releases later this year. This means the original distribution partner, Warner Bros, has been dropped.
Techland also teased that weโll be getting another look at the game at E3 next month during the Square Enix press conference.
โWe couldnโt be more excited to join forces with Square Enix. This partnership represents an incredible opportunity for both companies to bring Modern Dark Ages to audiences across Americas,โ said Ed Lin, Head of Marketing at Techland in a press release. โOur partnership kicks off this year at E3 and we are looking forward to a great campaign that showcases the fan favourite Dying Light DNA in the expansive and savage world of the infected.โ
โWeโre thrilled to be partnering with Techland on one of the industryโs most anticipated games, Dying Light 2,โ said John Heinecke, Chief Marketing Officer at Square Enix. โThe game is setting up to be an innovative, ambitious project, and we believe players will be delighted with what they deliver. This game fits incredibly well into our portfolio, and weโre looking forward to showing more at E3.โ
Square Enix has confirmed that Dying Light 2 will be shown during its press conference, which starts on Monday, June 10th, at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. This yearโs conference is shaping up to be a big one for the publisher. While nothing is set in stone, weโre positive weโll see more of the Final Fantasy VII Remake. The publisher also confirmed that Marvelโs Avengers will finally be revealed at E3 2019.
