Cyberpunk 2077 Might be Released in 2077 at This Point
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Cyberpunk 2077 will not be coming out this year. At all. This was confirmed by Jason Schreier. Everyone will have to just keep on waiting. As frustrating as this can be there is always be something positive to be taken away from news this.
So, on the brighter side of things, the game looks great from what we’ve seen so far. And there is a developer behind the game that cares about making quality content. This game clearly means a lot to them. Cyberpunk 2077 is not a game that is going to be forced out the door regardless of if its finished or not. Something which has unfortunately become quite common nowadays. When this game does eventually drop, we should expect a masterpiece.
CD Projekt Red’s CFO has previously stated that this year’s E3 will be the most important in the companies history. So expect a strong dose of what they have so far. Last year the showed off a 40-minute walkthrough. It seems as though this year will be even bigger.
There will be no playable demo or anything along those lines. But there will most likely be more closed-door showings that a small group of people can see. As for what the public will get to look at is uncertain. Another lengthy trailer or gameplay walkthrough shouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. Whatever they have to show off, we will all still have to wait patiently for the game to come out.
