Days Gone is Big
The PS4โs next big exclusive, Days Gone, is almost upon us โ April 26th in case you forgot โ which means youโre probably wondering how much space the game will take up on your console.
According to German site Playfront, Days Gone will take up a whopping 67GB. In addition to that, itโs been reported that a day one patch will be rolling out at or near launch. The size of the day one patch is unknown, but Playfront is noting that it will only make small tweaks and bug fixes so it shouldnโt be too large.
In case youโre still unsure about Days Gone, hereโs the official description from the PlayStation Store:
Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic. Play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live.
โข Harsh Open World: Using the power of PlayStation 4 and Unreal Engine 4, Days Gone offers an incredibly realistic and detailed open-world experience. Immerse yourself in vast and hostile environments, and explore their secrets. Search abandoned vehicles, houses, truck stops and towns as you scavenge for resources. But be carefulโ day and night cycles, along with dynamic weather systems, all affect gameplay and enemy behaviour.
โข Brutal Sandbox Combat: Perfect your gameplay with an endless combination of strategy and play in every situation. Craft customized items using pieces and parts found in the field, from brutal melee weapons to traps and more. Act wisely, as every choice can be the difference between life and death.
Sony is expecting big things from Days Gone including turning it into a franchise. Itโs also been confirmed to have post-launch DLC support.
