She’s like a Ice-Themed Iron Man… Who Is Also a Robot
I don’t know about you, but I am getting real sick of assuming that there is nothing left that NetherRealm is going to reveal before Mortal Kombat 11 launches. It releases tomorrow, but at this point, I am almost convinced that 2 or 3 more trailers will be out before then. I am also sick of being amazed by every Mortal Kombat 11 trailer amazing me, and Frost’s trailer does not disappoint. We see Frost fighting her sifu Sub-Zero. Sifu means Master or Teacher. I knew that from previous knowledge and not from seeing it on the Mortal Kombat wiki a minute ago.
In this installment of Mortal Kombat, Frost is a robo-lady. She enters the stage by having her head and spine inserted into her robot-body. A mask-less Sub-Zero appears, showing off his Elsa powers. After a little chat between master and over-ambitious student, the fight begins. Almost right away, Frost makes use of her cybernetic body by spinning her torso around, creating a tornado of icy blades. Then she creates an area of insta-freeze, which Sub-Zero gets caught in. With a quick stage change, Frost begins using ice-drills to mix up Sub-Zero’s insides. She then blasts him a couple of times with arc reactor-like shots.
Frost also shows that she can throw her head and detonate it like a grenade. Just like her sifu, Frost can conjure ice-weapons like axes and swords. She finishes him off by stabbing Sub-Zero with a pair of icicles and impaling him on a few others. In true Iron Man fashion, she blasts him with ice from her chest and shatters him, grabbing his spine and skull from his broken body. Those remains are then taken away and stored in a robotic body. Mortal Kombat 11 comes out tomorrow on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
