Ashly Burch Is Reprising Her Role as Tiny Tina in Borderlands 3

“I’m a little teapot, bloody and cut. Here is my handle and here is my butt.”

Tiny Tina first graced us with her presence in Borderlands 2. In a world of crazy and memorable characters, she easily became one of the biggest and most lovable personalities in the game. After returning in Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage DLC, as the narrator/DM in Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC, and with a small role in The Pre-Sequel, no doubt we would see Tiny Tina in Borderlands 3. The world’s deadliest thirteen year old will return, but a little bit older judging from the images we’ve seen of her.

The most memorable part of Tiny Tina would definitely be her voice. She was brought to life by the talents of Ashly Burch, who also provided a voice for the gun The Bane in Borderlands 2. Some people had concerns that with Tiny Tina aging, Gearbox might decide to go with a different voice actress in Borderlands 3. Well, if it ain’t broke… A fan asked Gearbox and CEO Randy Pitchford on Twitter if Ashly Burch would reprise her role as Tiny Tina. Simply put, Pitchford answered “Yes she has returned.” Did we need a long-winded article for that? Probably not. Did I just want an opportunity to talk about Tiny Tina? Hell, yes, Muthaluva.

Tiny Tina’s new look has her a little bit more armoured up, but keeps a few of her signature features. She still has that psycho mask on the side of her head, and pretty much the same hairstyle. In keeping with the bunny motif of her doll she carries around, she now has a bunny ear headband. Judging by the new boardgame Tiny Tina’s Robot Tea Party, she still keeps her love for crumpets. Borderlands 3 comes out on September 13th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games store.
