“Only on PlayStation” Trailer Celebrates Sony Winning This Generation

Sony Shines Another Spotlight on PlayStation 4 Exclusives

This console generation has provided an interesting rollercoaster of games. Whatever the trends, Sony has maintained a healthy pipeline of fantastic titles. Big release after big release has set a new standard for the first-party publishing, which goes beyond the competition. And in celebration of this generation’s successes, PlayStation has released a new trailer.

“Only on PlayStation” honors the best and upcoming releases for the PlayStation 4. Scored by a wistful musical track, the trailer reminds us of Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, Spider-Man, Days Gone, The Last of Us II, and Ghost of Tsushima. It’s a look back at the games that sent consoles flying off shelves, that delivered some serious hype moments at E3. and it’s also a reminder that Sony’s first-party studios have generated massive success for single-player games. The best part is how the company is far from finished.

One of the best exclusives, Sony seems to forget, came near the beginning of this generation. The only crime is here that Bloodborne is nowhere to be found.  At any rate, here’s what PlayStation’s road map looks like. Days Gone is scheduled to hit PlayStation 4 on April 26. Afterward, we can probably expect another exclusive release in Ghost of Tsushima or The Last of Us Part II. Curiously enough, we didn’t get to see Death Stranding in the promo video, which may suggest that a release is still pretty far out. Maybe Sony doesn’t even know, and Kojima is just a mad genius biding his time.

Obviously, we have a lot to celebrate this generation. But let us know, what was your favorite PS4 exclusive thus far? Which game are you most anticipating? Comment down below.
