Outlaws of the Old West Is Expected to Stay in Early Access for One Year
Wild West MMO Outlaws of the Old West has released in Steam’s Early Access program recently and, until March 19th, players can purchase the game in this work-in-progress state for $14.99.
Outlaws of the Old West is all about surviving, foraging, and crafting in “the untamed West of Nineteenth Century America”, read a press release. Also according to the press release, the game is an open world to explore for the 150 players that can populate each in-game server and there’s even settlement customization along with an “elaborate” morality system.

“Overall, my initial impressions of Outlaws of the Old West leave me a bit unimpressed and concerned that the ‘Why?’ of it all will not be answered,” the preview’s author wrote. “I will certainly enter the Early Access stage with an open mind but fear that the Wild West setting will be the only truly appealing part of the game. For now, it seems like just another run-of-the-mill, open-ended survival game, but I sincerely hope to be proven wrong.”
