343 Industries Bombarded With Pizzas After Announcing Halo Collection for Steam

The Halo Studio Has A Lot of Pizza to Go Through

After 343 Industries announced on Tuesday that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be launching on Steam, the studio was delivered a massive amount of pizzas.

“It has begun,” tweeted 343 Industries community director Brian Jarrard yesterday. “Pizzas are actually showing up at the studio?!” Several other developers also tweeted about the pizzas and things eventually got so out of hand that Jarrard had to publicly tweet a request for fans to stop buying pizzas for the studio.

“The Halo community is awesome,” Jarrard’s tweet read. “We’re excited, too! Please, don’t send anymore pizzas to 343 Industries. The building receptionist isn’t here so it’s getting logistically challenging and we really don’t want to see food to go waste.”

As for the upcoming Halo collection, a release date or window wasn’t revealed but, according to the game’s description on Steam, it sounds like it’s going to have a lot of content.

“Honoring the iconic hero and his epic journey, The Master Chief’s story is brought together with a total of 67 campaign missions plus more than 120 multiplayer maps (including the original Halo Combat Evolved maps) and Spartan Ops maps,” part of the description reads. “Now built for PC with mouse and keyboard support and up to 4K UHD and HDR, this is the collection Halo fans have been waiting for!”
