343 Industries Continues Pizza Exchange with Fans

Will This Be the Last Word? or Rather the Last Slice?

A little while ago, 343 Industries announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be coming to PC. This tweet announcement was accompanied by a mysterious pizza emoji. Fans took that as a sign to send the company their weight in pizza. Although the idea of endless pizza may delight most people, even 343 Industries had to ask fans to stop sending them. Yesterday, they continued the pizza conversation with fans by releasing a special weapon skin in Halo 5: Guardians.

The “Pizza Party” pack is available starting yesterday. It includes a pepperoni pizza design skin for the Assault Rifle called Last Slice. It also comes with a Hot Pie banner. The official Halo Twitter account showed off the skin in a short video yesterday. The pack comes with a thank you note from 343. It pretty much echoes the tweet Brian Jarrard sent earlier.

“Thank you for the outpouring of excitement over the news that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC! We greatly appreciate all the pizza that has been sent to 343 Industries but ask that you please don’t send anymore to the studio – we’ve had more than our fill. We unfortunately cannot send real pizzas back in return, so as a token of our gratitude we’d like to offer you a hot slice of pepperoni here within Halo 5. Jump online any day this weekend and pick up your complimentary Last Slice skin!”

This sure whole Master Chief Collection thing sure has taken a weird turn lately. Do you think this is the end of pizza exchange between 343 Industries and the fans? Let us know in the comments below.
