The Free Games Train Never Stops
February is just about over which means a new set of free games are about to swing into rotation for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, and it’s a pretty decent lineup if I do say so myself (which I did).
This months offerings include 2 titles for Xbox One, and one title each for Xbox 360 and the original Xbox.
For Xbox One, we’ve got Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, which was released last year and forgotten about before it even launched. Looking around, it didn’t seem to receive too warm of a welcome, which sounds about on-brand with the rest of the Adventure Time games, which is heartbreaking, because that show is phenomenal. There’s also Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, which, EA Access subscribers may have already had their fill of as the game is included in the vault, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you enjoy class-based third person shooters.
For Xbox 360 we’ve got Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which follows badass robo-Raiden and his awesome watermelon-slicing abilities in an adventure designed by Platinum Games. From the original Xbox, Star Wars: Republic Commando is storming in remind us what a good old-fashioned single-player Star Wars game looks like.
You can check out the dates these games will be available and their US MSRP here:
