The Simple but Awesome Rhythm Game Voez Just Got 16 Free Songs

Ver 1.6 Brings Voez’s Tracklist to 201!

Voez, the superb Switch rhythm game that launched with the hybrid machine in March 2017, is getting another free update from developer Rayark that adds 16 more songs to the mix.

At launch, Voez came with over 100 songs in its library. Two years and a few free updates later, that song total has only gotten bigger and bigger. With this latest update, Version 1.6, the tracklist is now at a staggering 201 songs! Publisher Flyhigh Works has dropped a trailer that features snippets of some of the new songs. Check it out below.

If you’re not completely versed on the game, that’s okay. Like most rhythm games, Voez is simple to play but difficult to put down. Players are required to touch vertically falling notes that have hit a bar on the bottom of the screen. Depending on the song, the number of lanes for the notes increase and shift side to side, making the screen look as if it is dancing to the music.

Version 1.6 should be launching soon and will, of course, be a free download for existing owners on Switch. If you haven’t had the chance to bask in Voez’s glory, you can test out the free demo from the Nintendo Switch eShop or purchase the full game for only $25 CAD. There is also a physical edition to buy if that’s more your thing.
