Team is Hard at Work on Fixing Crackdown 3 Issues
The Crackdown 3 development team has just released a video detailing how they’re going to address some high priority issues that have been plaguing players since launch. In addition, a new bonus content pack that adds a few extra explosive goodies to the game is available now for free.
As explained in a new developer update post and in the video above, the team is hard at work on adding Xbox party support to Wrecking Zone, Campaign co-op saves, and an unlocked framerate for co-op on PC. While a concrete release date was not given, the team hopes to have the updates ready in the coming weeks.
The bonus content includes a weapon called the “Quackhammer,” a rocket launcher that shoots explosive ducks. There’s also the Commander Jaxon’s Ultimate Suit which provides a 10% boost to strength and explosives skill levelling, and the “Linebacker” vehicle. After downloading the pack, the Quackhammer and Linebacker can be accessed from any Supply Point. Players can select the Commander Jaxon suit in the Agent selection screen.
It’s nice to see the studio continue to listen to feedback and make Crackdown 3 a better experience for its fans. In our launch review, we called the game fun but ultimately forgettable. Check out our video review below.
