Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night One Step Closer to Release

Not A Very Big Step, But Still

While we still don’t have a release date for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, we at least have a rating from the ESRB. The upcoming Igavania release will be T for Teen, if that matters to you and yours. It’s a small thing, but it means the release window is inching ever closer, one step at a time.

The game’s official description on the ESRB website warns of blood, violence and partial nudity. None of this should be a huge shock to anyone, really. All a rating means is that maybe, just maybe, we’ll be getting a proper release date for the game soon. At this point, any date would be preferable to the weird limbo we’ve been hanging out in for the last few years.

Ritual of the Night has been so long in coming that entire platforms have fallen off the release list. The Mac, Linux and PS Vita versions have been left in the dust. There’s a Switch version coming though, because there’s always a Switch version. I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll actually see Bloodstained by this summer. Everything I’ve seen of the demo has been extremely promising, after all. Once that date drops, you’d best believe I’ll be shouting it from the rooftops.
