February Games with Gold Bring a Very Classic Star Wars Game

The Rest of Them Are Not Bad

Another month brings new goodies for Xbox Gold subscribers and new marketing opportunities for Microsoft. For the month of February, Xbox One owners can look forward to games new and old in Games with Gold. Some are very old. Let’s take a look at what’s in store.

Star Wars Jedi night Games with Gold

This month, Games with Gold brings a dynamics set of four. You might say the list is ideal for gamers who feel a bit nostalgic. On February 1st, Bloodstained: Curse of the moon will be available for download then leaves the store on February 28. The Castlevania-inspired platformer retains that retro 2D action that defined many 90s titles, yet it’s available for the Xbox One. On the same day, look forward to Assassin’s Creed: Rogue for the Xbox 360, reinforcing the idea that every AC game will eventually fill up every subscriber’s library. The game leaves the list on February 15.

Back to the retro feel, we have Super Bomberman R available from February 15 to March 16. From February 16 to 28, players can download the LucasArts classic, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Next to Knights of the Old Republic, it might be one of the best Jedi games ever made. Hence, if you’re starving for Star Wars (thanks, EA), there’s no reason not to try.

As usual, all the old-school games are available on the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. While you’re here, let us know your thoughts on February’s Games with Gold. What do you think of next month’s list? Let us know in the comments below.

If you’re not sure what to do before February 1st, you can play Gears of War 4 for free. Click here to learn about the Xbox Gold benefits.
