Baaaayonetta – Sega Teasing Something on Bayonetta Steam Page

What Do Sheep and Bayonetta Have Do Do with Each Other?

It seems Sega is teasing something via the news section of the Bayonetta Steam Page, posting a picture of a cheeky sheep with the simple title “Baa”.

Most of the speculation from fans right now has them all saying one name – Catherine (Or,Katherine. Or Qatherine. I don’t know your preference but I do know mine). Sega has a history of using news sections of their PC releases to tease other games launching on the platform – the Bayonetta Steam Page has previously been used to tease Vanquish, which released a month later on PC after the tease. Vanquish and Binary domain were both then used to tease a PC version of Puyo Puyo Tetris which appeared shortly after the tease. If we were to follow the trend, there is a very good chance we may be seeing a PC release.

Catherine is a bit of a cult classic, originally releasing for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Its a hybrid puzzle-visual novel and is getting a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita update with new content this year, including a third girl, “Qatherine”. Check out the reveal trailer from last year below

Putting the original on Steam now would be a great way to introduce new players to the game’s world and mechanics before throwing them to the sheep with a bunch of new content.

There’s no word on when Catherine: Full Bodied is hitting North America, but I’m stoked for the release. What are your thoughts on Qatherine? Let us know!
