A Plague Tale: Innocence Scurries Onto PC & Consoles in May 2019

A Plague Tale: Innocence Finally Gets a Release Date

A Plague Tale: Innocence, a narrative adventure game about a young girl, her little brother, and the world’s seemingly largest (literal) rat pack, will launch on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 14th.

This release date was revealed in the official YouTube video posted above. The video is also the first episode of an informative webseries about the game and it features the two voice actors behind the two main characters of the game, Amicia and her younger brother, Hugo.

The story of A Plague Tale: Innocence focuses on the pair traveling through 14th century France during a deadly rat plague.

“These children encounter 14th century France in a similar way to the player, an unknown and dangerous place that they barely understand but must survive,” part of the YouTube video’s description read. “As the realities of the world of adults press down on them, their familial love will be tested as they work together to overcome challenges from the rat plague and pursuing Inquisition alike.”
