Patch 1.1.0 For Smash Ultimate Is Out Now

Includes A Hard Mode For World Of Light

Smash Ultimate already has its first update, patch 1.1.0! This release includes a few interesting features, chief among them being that World of Light is getting a hard mode. This is either amazing news or utterly irrelevant, depending on your feelings on the aforementioned single-player adventure.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Personally, I’m pretty soft on this game mode, but everyone else seems to love it. There’s tons of fighting to do, weird collectibles to unlock, and characters to find. If you play your cards right, you can even use the mode to unlock fighters faster than usual! Again, 100% not my jam, but you do you, ya crazy kids.

Other patch 1.1.0 features include presents, balance adjustments and a Mii fighter costume. You can check out the complete patch notes, listed below. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out now on the Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review of the game here.
