Bethesda Is Feeling Festive with a Brand New Rage 2 Christmas Trailer
Christmas is all but a couple of short days away and to celebrate this Bethesda has decided to drop a brand new special “RAGEMAS” trailer for Rage 2. For anyone who found joy in the first title and is patiently waiting for some colorful explosions next year, this should satiate your appetite…at least for now. And what’s even better is that you might just find yourself singing along.
As you might imagine, only Bethesda could celebrate Christmas in an over-the-top hilarious way and this year it comes in the way of a brand new festive trailer aptly dubbed RAGEMAS. Though it doesn’t exactly offer up much in the way of new story or game details, it’s just plain fun. And of course, if you weren’t already hyped about the game’s comical tone, this will surely due the trick. You can check out the trailer below, which features 12 Days of Christmas in Rage 2 style.
For those of you that may not have been following the news about Rage 2, it’s currently being developed by the makers of the Just Cause and Mad Max series, Avalanche Studios, as well as the makers of DOOM and the first Rage game, id Software. Here’s a little bit more about the game straight from the official website. “Dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. The wasteland of RAGE 2 is your playground – your very bloody playground – and in a world where there are no rules, insanity rules.”
Rage 2 set to release on May 14th, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The standard edition is priced at $59.99 USD. As it stands right now there has been no word on whether or not the game will make its way to the Nintendo Switch, though it seems like a likely possibility with Bethesda’s propensity to bring their titles to the Switch thus far.
