Bethesda, And Fallout Fans, Just Can’t Catch A Break
Just when it looked like things were turning around for ol’ Bethesda, a new problem has sprung up in the process of fixing another.
In trying to make amends with buyers of the Fallout 76: Power Armor edition, the developer has accidentally leaked a ton of sensitive customer information including emails, partial credit card information, and addresses. The issue has since been resolved following a brief shutdown of the support site, though users on Twitter and Reddit are understandably still mulling over the unfortunate leak.
As if that wasn’t enough, yesterday’s update intended to fix a slew of the game’s innumerable issues is being highly criticized for introducing a whole new set of bugs, as well as apparently nerfing a handful of features without notice.
Fallout 76 is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, let us know what you think of the whole debacle in the comments!
