From Software’s Déraciné Has Bloodborne Easter Eggs, Fans Shit Collective Pants

And So, The Hunt Begins

Déraciné, a new VR title from Bloodborne developer From Software, contains more than a couple Easter Eggs regarding the beloved Lovecraftian action game, and some fans think it could mean a sequel is on the way.

Déraciné Bloodborne

Found by YouTuber Amazing Komaru (and originally covered by Fextra Life), a doll in the game looks a hell of a lot like The Doll, whom players visit to cash in their blood echoes in Bloodborne, and is making a popular gesture from the game called “Make Contact.” Fans on ResetERA also came across a few other eggs, including a book called “Blood and Bones” with it’s title written in the Bloodborne font, and a separate doll that also mentions an “unfinished tale.”

It’s definitely worth noting that Déraciné and Bloodborne are both directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, who also worked on the iconic Dark Souls series, and is currently hard at work on the upcoming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which many fans also believed would be revealed to be Bloodborne 2 due to the teases leading up to it’s official announcement. Déraciné is currently available for PS4, let us know if you think Bloodborne 2 is on the way in the comments, and keep it locked to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
