Blizzard Announces Diablo Immortal for Mobile

Diablo Immortal Is Coming to Phones

Blizzard just announced the next Diablo game, Diablo Immortal, at BlizzCon today. The mobile game, which as of now is just โ€œcoming soon,โ€ is set twenty years before the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. It will feature stories covering Deckard Cain, Tyrael, and other franchise regulars. By the looks of the trailer, the game looks like it plays pretty much like Diablo III but with touch controls.

For series diehards holding their breath for Diablo 4, itโ€™s still comingโ€”we just donโ€™t know when. Blizzard even gave fans a heads up a couple of weeks ago and told them that the Diablo III sequel wouldnโ€™t make it to BlizzCon, but itโ€™s definitely in the works.

โ€œThese are very exciting timesโ€”we currently have multiple teams working on different Diablo projects and we canโ€™t wait to tell you all about them . . . when the time is right,โ€ they wrote. โ€œWe know what many of you are hoping for and we can only say that โ€˜good things come to those who wait,โ€™ but evil things often take longer. We appreciate your patience as our teams work tirelessly to create nightmarish experiences worthy of the Lord of Terror.โ€

In the meantime, hereโ€™s the trailer for Diablo Immortal.
