Vampyr is going to eventually launch on the Nintendo Switch, according to a recent financial report from its publisher, Focus Home Interactive.

“In Q3, the Group will continue to maximise the potential of the Vampyr license,” the report read. “After the game’s impressive success on PC, Xbox One and PS4, it will be Nintendo Switch’s turn to welcome the DontNod title to reach an even wider audience.”

It was announced during this July that Vampyr had already sold more than 450,000 copies despite only having come out a month earlier.

“We are very proud, because since its launch, our [latest] original creation meets a great craze among players,” said Focus Home CEO Oskar Guilbert at the time. “Thanks to our new role as co-producer, we will greatly benefit from this commercial success.”

If you’re unfamiliar with the game then here’s the premise: Vampyr is an action-RPG about a WW1 veteran & doctor named Johnathan Reid who gets turned into a vampire shortly after returning to England from the war. In order to find out why & how this happened, Reid will need to snoop around several London neighborhoods, take on quests, improve his vampiric abilities by drinking human blood, and make some tough moral choices about who he kills or spares.
