Get Ready for Some New Switch & 3DS Info!

Update (9/12/2018): The new date for the upcoming stream is September 13th at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET.

Update (9/6/2018): The Nintendo Direct stream has been officially postponed due to an earthquake that occurred in Hokkaido, Japan recently.

Original Story:

A new Nintendo Direct stream that will focus on the Switch & 3DS is scheduled for this Thursday at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET. According to Nintendo, the stream will last about 35 minutes.

Noticeably, part of the stream’s description read that there will be info revealed for upcoming Switch & 3DS titles. This could mean even more info on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or possibly even info on the Yoshi game that’s currently scheduled to come out in 2019.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Switch

There could also be a Metroid Prime 4 segment of the stream. The upcoming Metroid game wasn’t seen at E3 this year and Nintendo COO Reggie Fils-Aime told Polygon in an interview that it won’t be coming out this year.

When he was asked by Polygon why the game wasn’t shown at E3, Fils-Aime said, “We believe it is not fair to the fan to repeatedly tease them over time about a game. That’s why we tend to focus close in, typically in a six- to nine-month timeframe, and go deep in sharing content and information on a particular piece of content.”

Maybe tomorrow’s stream could be an opportune time to show off Samus’ latest adventure?

What new info do you think this stream will reveal? Go ahead and speculate in the comments section below!
